Who are you? This is a question we always hear. A question that we could answer either easily or with difficulty. If we listened long enough and took heart everything that the people said about us, their words would resonate in our minds, until we believe we are who they believe we are. We consent with their judgments and opinions. And then we are dead.
We are just lucky if at some point, we believe we are less of a person. This is a very good starting point in knowing who we really are. At this point we need to celebrate. Because this only means we are not happy of who we are at the moment. The fact that something within us is stirred, means someone in there wants to come out. Someone beautiful. Someone wonderful. Someone nobody knows except you if you just give time to know who is that someone. Or else, if we are happy for who we are at the moment, this means we have reach our limit and there is no longer room for improvement of that current self we are dragging along.
However, we are far greater than how others see us; than how we see ourselves. The Psalmist in Psalm 139:14 says, I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Do you believe it? I do. Until now I am still in the process of digging in, letting out and allowing that wonderful person to live fully. That person the Psalmist is referring to, is the person we have to look inside, to know better. That is the only person who can help us live our lives fully.
May you meet that person the soonest.
Have a purposeful day!
